Welcome to Europe on Screen 2007
The European Film Festival “EUROPE ON SCREEN 2007” takes place from 26 October to 2 November 2007 in several European cultural centres in Jakarta. EUROPE ON SCREEN (EOS) will then travel to seven cities outside Jakarta, including; Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Banda Aceh, Medan, and Makassar from 3 to 25 November 2007.
This year, the festival will be devoted to the theme of "Multiculturalism" and celebrate the diversity of European culture.
The European Film Festival was held for the first time in Indonesia in 1990 and followed by the second festival in 1999. As of 2003, the European Film Festival has then been held annually as a joint effort of the European diplomatic and cultural representations in Indonesia.
